What is preserved moss and how long does it last?
Preserved moss is moss that undergoes a special cleaning and preservation process through a glycerin bath to retain its soft texture. Food-grade dyes are then added, resulting in a variety of colours. This preservation process keeps the moss colourful and maintenance-free, lasting for 10+ years.
Where can I hang my preserved Miss Moss art wall?
Hang the preserved moss wall indoors and away from direct sunlight. A moderate humidity environment is best to allow the moss to remain soft. If it starts to harden, that's a great indicator that your space may be a bit dry!
Can I hang a preserved moss wall in the bathroom or powder room?
A preserved moss wall shouldn't be exposed to excessive humidity in a room such as the bathroom where people shower to avoid damaging your artwork.
High humidity will cause the moss to absorb too much moisture and lose its structure.
An alternative is to either hang your original Miss Moss art in a powder room where there is no shower or to hang a botanical art print instead!

Can a commission a preserved moss wall?
Yes! We accept a limited number of commission requests per year on a first-come, first-served basis. We'll have a free consultation to learn about your space, size of moss art wall you're looking for and budget, and which moss walls from our collection have inspired you.
